nearly choke to death

once again, i got cheated by internet recipe. saw this so called devil's food cake recipe. it is a chocolate cake recipe. i nearly choked to death eating it. horrible! guess i will have to stick to the current recipe that i have and see what i can do from there. a big sigh

Ry will be sitting for his school exam this coming May which means I got to spend time preparing him for it.

AND... I really have to stop baking to make time for this. My child interest comes before mine.

Latest project

my current and latest project is to decorate with chocolate ganache and butter cream roses. i will be trying out this on Friday nite as i need it to be cool so that the cream does not melt.

keeping my fingers cross that it will turn out as what i imagine.

Playing with butter cream

i know it is a bit old school... :) well, i am amazed too with what we can do with butter cream. this sparks off ideas for coming cake decorations... of coz with new and trendy designs.
