Ti Kuih ( sweet cake in Hokkien) aka kuih bakul (in bahasa). Bought this from a colleague's mum.

CNY cookies

I just can't resist baking cookies for CNY in the midst of my final exam. Baking helps me to de-stress.

The pineapple tarts was given by a good friend. It was really good that we could not wait till CNY.

Both th peanut cookies (must have for CNY) & choc chips were baked by us. Us as Ed helped me - I prepared the ingredients and he mixed them. With my tennis elbow I can't do much these days.

Yummy cookies! I hope we are able to keep then till CNY ; )

This was never in the plan. Just thought of it this afternoon and decided to bake some with the help of our 2 elves ; )

Christmas baking list

1 more week.... not really.... I only have today and next Saturday to bake before Christmas (and of course weekdays if I am up to it).

What to bake
1. Fruit cake (in progress)
2. Choc cake
3. Choc Chips cookies
4. Gingerbread man cookies

Gosh this is so last minute..... blame it on MBA  : )

Hokkein prawn mee @ the green house, Burma rd.

its so nice to eat at a place where there is no obnoxious aunty/uncle telling you that you hv to wait 30mins to be served and then see them serve "gold-card-telephone-customers" first when you've been sitting there for more than 1/2 hr already.

the prawn noodles at the green house was pretty good compared to the rest of the competitors in georgetown.

the soup was sweet and full of flavor.

and we were served within 5minutes of ordering, eventhough the place was packed.
