This version is slightly different. The fish meat is basically still in its fish form and not been minced yet.
I actually like it this way.
The soup is also quite sweet and the prawns paste is actually mixed in with the soup when they serve it.
Other shops have it in a small spoon at the side for you to mix it in yourself.
Overall, I actually liked it, though I doubt elpea will.
Another unique version of the penang laksa .
